The Engineer performs engineering functions during maintenance and repair outages for turbine generators.
Responsibilities
-Perform and analyze generator electrical testing
-Reverse engineer generator components
-Mechanical design of generator components
-Light electrical design of generator components
-Explanation of assessments to customers and technicians
-On site problem solving
-Authoring engineering service reports for customers
Qualifications
-Bachelor's Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
-Experience working with 3-phase synchronous generators or similar
-Experience with electrical testing
-Good communication; oral and written
-Proficient use of Microsoft Office®
-Travel required
The Generator Specialist has direct experience with all elements of the service of
3-phase synchronous generators.
